HERITAGE ROUND TEAM LISTS — GUNGAHLIN EAGLES VS WESTS | SATURDAY 11 JULY 2026
The Red & Black Special Edition is out and the teams are named for Heritage Round. This Saturday 11 July at The Nest, the Gungahlin Eagles host Wests in one of the most anticipated occasions of the 2026 season — a day that honours 40 years since our 1986 1st Grade and 3rd Grade Premiership teams and celebrates everyone who has ever worn the red and black.

A strong squad is named across five grades this Saturday. Please note the Colts have a bye this round. Check the team lists in the images above and get down to The Nest to be part of a day unlike any other this season.
Here’s how the day shapes up on Saturday 11 July at Nicholls Oval. 4th Grade open proceedings at 10:55AM on Field 2, followed by 3rd Grade at 12:15PM on Field 2. Women and 2nd Grade both kick off at 1:40PM on Field 2 and Field 1 respectively, and 1st Grade close out the Heritage Round day at 3:05PM on Field 1.

As part of the Heritage Round celebrations, the 2026 Heritage Day 1st Grade Jerseys are up for auction. These are the jerseys our 1st Grade team will run out in on Saturday — and you can own one. Bid now via the online auction and the highest bid for each jersey will become the opening bid at the live auction during the after-match function at The Gungahlin Lakes.
