HERITAGE ROUND 13 RESULTS — GUNGAHLIN EAGLES VS WESTS
What a day at The Nest. Heritage Round 2026 will be remembered as one of the finest days in recent Gungahlin Eagles history — not just for the occasion, but for the performances across the grades. Three wins from five, including a dominant 1st Grade victory and a stunning 61–10 result from the Premier Women, made Heritage Round a day the whole Eagles community will talk about for a long time.
Here’s how every grade finished on Saturday 11 July at Nicholls Oval.
1ST GRADE — EAGLES 48, WESTS 34
The 1st Grade delivered a Heritage Round performance to remember, running out 48–34 winners over Wests in front of a packed Nicholls Oval. A high-scoring, high-energy game that had the crowd roaring — and the Eagles had the answers every time Wests pushed back. A brilliant result on a special day.
PREMIER WOMEN — EAGLES 61, WESTS 10
Absolutely outstanding. The Premier Women produced one of the performances of their 2026 season, dismantling Wests 61–10 in a display of power, skill, and complete team rugby. Sixty-one points on Heritage Round. In the Heritage Jersey. At The Nest. That is a result that will go down in the history books of this club. Incredible stuff from the ladies.
2ND GRADE — EAGLES 41, WESTS 24
A strong 41–24 win for the 2nd Grade, continuing their impressive home form at The Nest. The Eagles were clinical throughout and thoroughly deserved the result. Another quality performance from a group building real momentum heading into the final rounds of the season.
3RD GRADE — EAGLES 17, WESTS 50
A tough afternoon for the 3rd Grade, going down 50–17 against a strong Wests outfit. The boys gave their effort on Heritage Round and the occasion was not lost on anyone who took the field. Heads up and we go again.
4TH GRADE — EAGLES 22, WESTS 32
The 4th Grade fell 32–22 to Wests in a competitive contest at Nicholls Oval. The Eagles were in the fight throughout but couldn’t quite hold off Wests in the closing stages. A tough result but another committed effort from this group.
A HERITAGE ROUND TO REMEMBER
Three wins. A Premier Women’s record performance. A packed Nest. And a day that honoured 40 years since the Eagles’ 1986 premiership teams in a way the whole club can be proud of.
