ROUND 14 RESULTS — GUNGAHLIN EAGLES VS TUGGERANONG VIKINGS
A big day at The Nest on Saturday as the Eagles hosted the Tuggeranong Vikings across all six grades in Round 14 of the 2026 BentSpoke John I Dent Cup. The standout result of the day came from the Premier Women, who shut the Vikings out 26–0. All grades were in action this round, with no byes across the club.
Here’s how every grade finished.
1ST GRADE — EAGLES 36, VIKINGS 19
A strong performance from the 1st Grade at The Nest, running out 36–19 winners over the Vikings. The forward pack laid a platform all afternoon and clinical finishing out wide did the rest — a confidence-boosting result heading into the back half of the season.
2ND GRADE — EAGLES 24, VIKINGS 40
The 2nd Grade couldn’t match it with a strong Vikings outfit, going down 40–24 at The Nest. Twenty-four points on the board shows the attacking intent was there, but the Vikings had enough in the tank to take the points.
3RD GRADE — EAGLES 12, VIKINGS 69
A tough day out for the 3rd Grade, beaten 69–12 by the Vikings. Plenty for the group to work on at training this week as they look to bounce back in Round 15.
4TH GRADE — EAGLES 21, VIKINGS 36
The 4th Grade went down 36–21 in a physical contest against Tuggeranong. The boys competed hard for large stretches, but the Vikings’ depth told in the end.
COLTS — EAGLES 42, VIKINGS 24
The Colts were in fine form, running out 42–24 winners over the Vikings at The Nest. A polished attacking display from the young Eagles, and another sign of the depth building through the junior pathway.
PREMIER WOMEN — EAGLES 26, VIKINGS 0
The standout performance of the day came from the Premier Women, who shut the Vikings out 26–0 at The Nest. A dominant display from start to finish and another statement result in a strong 2026 campaign for the women’s group. Well done ladies.
