Round 14 at The Nest produced two more outstanding individual performances from the Gungahlin Eagles. Congratulations to Isaac Foster, named Men’s Player of the Day, and Easter Savelio, named Women’s Player of the Day — two players who delivered when it mattered most against the Tuggeranong Vikings on Saturday 18 July.
ISAAC FOSTER — MEN’S PLAYER OF THE DAY
One of our rising stock of quality young front rowers, Isaac Foster put in a big shift against the Vikings.
Young “Bread” ran out for our Colts side, helping them to a win and bagging a try in a strong performance.
Answering an SOS from 2nd Grade, Isaac backed up to start the next game, bagging another try in the process to cap off an impressive day out.

EASTER SAVELIO — WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE DAY
The Premier Women’s Player of the Day brought everything that is needed to have success against a formidable Vikings outfit: experience, skill and power.
It was a defensive masterclass keeping Tuggeranong scoreless, and Easter led the way on that front as the Eagles ran out 26–0 winners at The Nest.
If you want to see what separates her from the rest, you just need to see her work rate and precision at the breakdown — it’s a sight to behold.
