ROUND 12 RESULTS — GUNGAHLIN EAGLES VS TUGGERANONG VIKINGS
A tough day at Viking Park on Saturday 4 July as the Eagles faced the Tuggeranong Vikings in Round 12 of the 2026 BentSpoke John I Dent Cup. The standout result of the day came from the Premier Women, who delivered a brilliant 24–17 win over the Vikings. Please note 3rd Grade and 4th Grade had a bye this round.
Here’s how every grade finished.
1ST GRADE — EAGLES 28, VIKINGS 43
A tough afternoon for the 1st Grade at Viking Park, going down 43–28. The Eagles scored well but couldn’t match the Vikings’ output on the day. The group will regroup and prepare for Round 13 back at The Nest.
2ND GRADE — EAGLES 42, VIKINGS 54
A high-scoring contest for the 2nd Grade, going down 54–42 against a strong Vikings outfit. Forty-two points on the board is an encouraging sign of the attacking intent within this group — but Tuggeranong had enough on the day to take the win.
PREMIER WOMEN — EAGLES 24, VIKINGS 17
The Premier Women were the Eagles’ standout performers of the round, defeating the Tuggeranong Vikings 24–17 at Viking Park. A hard-fought win against a quality opposition side, and another strong result in what has been a consistent and impressive 2026 campaign for the women’s group. COLTS — EAGLES 14, VIKINGS 29
A tough day for the Colts against a strong Vikings outfit, going down 29–14 at Viking Park. The boys will take the lessons from the day and come back stronger in Round 13.
