Round 11 Results — Eagles Battle the Whites at Campese Oval

ROUND 11 RESULTS — GUNGAHLIN EAGLES VS QUEANBEYAN WHITES

A hard fought day at Campese Oval on Saturday 27 June as the Eagles took on the Queanbeyan Whites in Round 11 of the 2026 BentSpoke John I Dent Cup. A tough round overall, with the Colts delivering the standout result of the day with a dominant 55–33 win. The Premier Women had a bye this round.

Here’s how every grade finished.

1ST GRADE — EAGLES 38, WHITES 58

A tough afternoon for the 1st Grade, going down 58–38 to the Whites at Campese Oval. The Eagles scored freely but couldn’t contain a strong Queanbeyan side on the day. The group will regroup and come back hard in Round 12.

2ND GRADE — EAGLES 21, WHITES 26

A close one for the 2nd Grade, falling five points short in a 26–21 loss. The Eagles were competitive throughout and the contest went right to the wire. A result that could easily have gone the other way.

3RD GRADE — EAGLES 40, WHITES 55

The 3rd Grade went down 55–40 in a high-scoring contest at Campese Oval. Forty points on the board shows plenty of attacking intent from the group — but the Whites had enough on the day to get over the line.

COLTS — EAGLES 55, WHITES 33

The standout result of the round. The Colts were outstanding at Campese Oval, running out dominant 55–33 winners over the Whites in a powerful display. A brilliant performance from a group that continues to build strongly as the season progresses. Well done Colties.

A MILESTONE ROUND

Amid the results, Round 10 was a special occasion for the Eagles community. Nick Ashmore, Fraser Weller, and Thomas Ferguson each reached 50 grade games, while Vinnie Palencia ran out for his 100th. Congratulations again to all four, milestones well and truly earned.

LOOKING AHEAD

Round 12 is next week and it’s a big one. The Eagles head to Viking Park on Saturday 4 July to take on the Tuggeranong Vikings. More details on fixtures and team lists to follow on Facebook shortly.
