KLAYTON THORN REACHES 50 FIRST GRADE GAMES FOR THE GUNGAHLIN EAGLES
Congratulations to Klayton Thorn on reaching the milestone of 50 First Grade games for the Gungahlin Eagles.
FROM WAVERLEY TO THE BRUMBIES PATHWAY
A product of Waverley College and the Randwick Juniors system, Klayton made his way to Canberra through the Brumbies Academy pathway. He quickly made his mark as one of the club’s brightest young talents.
His breakout John I Dent Cup season in 2022 showed exactly what he could bring to the game and opened the door to his progression into the Brumbies squad.
WHAT HE BRINGS
Klayton’s impact has continued to grow since then. It culminated in a standout 2024 season, where he was awarded the MacDougall Medal as ACT Rugby’s Best and Fairest player, along with the John Hunter Memorial Trophy as the competition’s leading try scorer.
With his pace, vision, and ability to create something from nothing, Klayton has become an integral part of the Eagles.
