SAMMY AND JOEY REACH A MILE STONE
This Saturday is a very special day at Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Union Club. Not one but two of our own will reach the 100 club game milestone — and we couldn’t be prouder of both of them.
Please join the entire Eagles family in congratulating Sammy and Joey on this incredible achievement. 100 games is a testament to dedication, loyalty, and love for this club. Here’s to both of you.
SAMMY — 100 GRADE GAMES
An Eagles junior and Daramalan junior through and through, Sammy has risen through the player ranks to run out in the centres for first grade today. A classy and skilful outside back, Sammy plays the game with a rare combination of flair, toughness, and energy — and always with a smile on his face. That smile is one of the things that makes Sammy who he is, on and off the park.
From his junior days pulling on the Eagles jersey for the first time to lining up in first grade today, this milestone has been well and truly earnt. Go well today, legend.
JOEY — 100 GRADE GAMES
If you want to know what a true clubman looks like, look no further than Joey. Week in, week out, Joey does whatever is asked of him without complaint — whether that’s front row, back row, or even out on the wing. He is the kind of player every club needs and the kind of teammate every player wants beside them.
Quietly spoken, Joey lets his footy do the talking. Very proud of his heritage, his family, and his club, Joey gives his absolute all every time he runs out in the red and black. That commitment over 100 grade games speaks volumes about the man he is.
