The Gungahlin Eagles are on the lookout for passionate and committed coaches to help lead our club into the 2026 season. From First Grade through to Fourth Grade, including Colts and Premier 15 Women’s, we’re seeking expressions of interest from individuals who want to share their expertise, build strong teams, and contribute to the growth of rugby in our community.
If you’ve got the skills, experience and drive to inspire players and be part of something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties will include:
● Design, implementation and management of the rugby program for your individual team.
● Providing technical and tactical coaching to individual players and the team as a whole.
● Working with other coaches within the club, and the Director of Rugby (DOR), to provide a multi-tiered program of rugby for player at all levels.
● Making significant contributions to the culture and long-term development of Gungahlin Eagles Rugby Club
● Develop strategies to support the retention and recruitment of players, and the future pathways into the Gungahlin Eagles Rugy Club.
Our ideal candidate has:
● Coaching skills, knowledge and experience at the level applying.
● Well developed leadership and communication skills.
● A proven record of working with multiple stakeholders including players, other coaches and support staff.
● A genuine passion for developing players and the game of rugby.
