Official: Family day will be lit

The first Eagles home game of 2019 will include four matches against Easts, Family Day activities, an acknowledgement of country, live music from MAXO, food, drinks, and plenty more.

Note the change of location for the games and this event, with it now being hosted at The Nest (Nicholls Enclosed Oval).

In an official statement this week, club captain Mitch Ward said he’s confident this will be a fantastic day for the club.

Ward says “Family day will be lit (flame emoji)”.

“It’s free entry for the kids, and there will be a jumping castle, the passing cage and face painting”

“For the rest of the family there will be hot and cold food and drinks going all day, we’ve got the amazing MAXO playing half-time entertainment, and of course the footy will be going all day down at The Nest.”

“After the footy, we’ll have our post-match function at The Nest where the mums are putting on an amazing feed of Roast’N’Rolls, then we’ll head to the Cornerstone Bar for the evening”
