Junior Player Registration
Registration for junior players, coaches, managers and volunteers for the 2024 season is now open!
What are the fees?
Registration fees for the 2024 season are:
Under 8s to 12s – $235
Under 13s to 18s – $250
Coaches, managers and volunteers – FREE
Want to try junior rugby out before committing to the season?
Register your child as a ‘Training Only Participant’ and they can come and check us out before registering as a fully-fledged player.
The registration fee for a ‘Training Only Participant’ in 2024 is between $10 to $25 (depending on your child’s age) and will come off the cost of the full registration fee if they decide to play.
What do you get as a fully registered player?
Fully registered players will receive a training shirt sponsored by Benchmarc Kitchen and Joinery, playing shorts and socks.
Fully registered players will also receive benefits offered by the ACT Brumbies for their home games. More information on these benefits will be sent from the Brumbies once you have registered
Registration also includes player insurance provided through Rugby Australia. Please note that the Rugby Australia insurance program provides basic levels of cover and does not seek to replace the need for other insurances.
How do I register?
All registrations must be done through Rugby Xplorer. The Rugby Xplorer app can be downloaded for both Apple and Android mobile devices or can be accessed on your desktop or laptop.
Once you have downloaded the Rugby Xplorer app, or opened the link on your desktop or laptop, log in to your account. If you do not have an account, then you will be able to create one before continuing.
Once you have logged in or created your account, select ‘Register’, search for ‘Gungahlin Eagles Junior RUC’ and follow the prompts.
In 2024 the ‘Registration type’ that applies to all players, coaches, managers and volunteers will be ‘XVs Juniors’, and the ‘Duration’ will be ‘Season’ only.
If you require assistance, head to Rugby Xplorer Resources.
