Overview
Another busy weekend in the Academy ranks with all but 2 of our cohort gracing the field. As usual, the Colts team was the hot bed with 7 representatives. Although the colts went down by a point, all but 5 came from our crew.
Second grade was the Mo show. With Moses Poreo, dropping down to allow Isaac Fines to start in First Grade, and Moses Faaola running on in the centre. Mo P, showed his class with a brace of tries after backing Mo F on the inside. These lads were later joined by Melvin and Nathanael who both proved their worth. Nathanael playing on the flank, which is somewhere he has aspirations to play, really showed his versatility.
First Grade came away with a big W against the old foe, with Mo P and Titan Sega both playing their part.
Again, our player showed their worth whenever they hit the park and it was good to see that against tougher opposition. Next week sees us away to Queanbeyan and the start of the 3rd and 4th grade competitions, so there will be more opportunity for our guys to get amongst it. More exciting times ahead dear readers.
