2024 Positions: Calling for nominations
In preparation for the 2024 rugby season, the Gungahlin Eagles are calling for Expressions of Interest for the roles and positions listed below. Ideally, when we come back from our break for the next preseason, we’ll have a full roster of willing volunteers preparing us for the next 12 months.
- Premier Division Coaches (Team or assistant)
- First Division Coaches (Team or assistant)
- Women’s Premier Coaches (Team or assistant)
- Team Managers (all teams)
- Sports Trainers and First Aid Officers
- Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer
- Ground Marshall
- Canteen Coordinator
- Social Media Coordinator
- Pathways and Development Coordinator
- Sponsorship Coordinator
- Kit and Merchandise Coordinator
- Events Coordinator
- Facilities and Operations Coordinator
- General Volunteer
We encourage all current volunteers and coaches to put forward an EOI for your desired position, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Please note, these positions are voluntary.

- Your desired position(s)
- Email address and contact number
- Optional: 1-2 sentences on why you’d like to take on the role(s)
The deadline for submissions is 5pm Wednesday 16 August. Once the deadline has closed, we will commence communicating with nominees and filling positions.
